Trina's 1st Gym Challenge

Trina smiled with great glee and confidence. She loved it here at Blastia, and couldn't wait for the Gym challenge she had been planning for. "There's the gym!" Trina pointed to the gym for Ginter to see. Trina ran inside.
When she was in there, she saw many pools around her. She believed it might be a water Gym. Once they got to the end of the side, she saw a cute young girl with green hair in a ponytail. "Um, are you a challenger here too? Do you know who the gym leader is? I can't seem to find them." Trina didn't know that the girl was the gym leader!

*Wow, not that you look at her, she DOES look quite older then me. Well, no matter. I'll beat her and win my first gym badge!* Trina smiled, with a lot of confidence. She sprinted to the arena place and struck a pose. She wanted to use Piplup, but Piplup wouldn't do great against other water types like Piplup himself. She had no choice other then to use Kirlia."All right Kirlia, you can do this!" Kirlia jumped out of her Pokeball and fell down gracefully on her feet. Trina hoped the Gym Leader's Pokemon wouldn't be too hard for her.

"Come on Kirlia, dodge it!" Trina commanded. Unfortunately, Kirlia tried to jump, but Akane's Goldeen got to Kirlia first. "That's okay Kirlia..you can still do it!" Trina paused for a second. "Use Magical Leaf, now!" Kirlia quickly ran behind Goldeen, and created three leaves out of her hands and aimed it toward Goldeen. "Kir..lia!" Kirlia cried. Trina was almost certain that the Kirlia's Magical leaf attack would connect.

Before Goldeen's water pulse could hit Kirlia, Trina yelled, "Now Kirlia! Use Psychic to avoid the water pulse!" Kirlia's eyes glowed maroon blue, and used Psychic on the water pulse which counter-attacked and hit Goldeen. "Good job Kirlia! Your doing just great!" Trina said some words of encouragement to Kirlia.

Goldeen, quickly, use dive, protect yourself with water.

Goldeen quickly went down under the water (after taking mild damage from Kirlia's counter-attack.) Goldeen rested briefly, then rose up out of the water again, he rose up close to Kirlia and attempted to ram Kirlia with horn attack.

(Um yeah sorry about this next post..)

Trina grinned and giggled. "Now quick Kirlia! Teleport behind the Goldeen!" Right before Goldeen could hit Kirlia, she teleported behind Akane's Goldeen. "Use Magical Leaf once more!" Trina commanded and pointed. Kirlia out of her hands, made three golden green leaves and sent them straight behind the Goldeen.

Goldeen, use aqua ring.

The magical leaves flew towards goldeen and hit [and passed through] the aqua ring, and their power was weakened when they hit the goldeen. The Aqua Ring also restored a tiny bit of goldeen's health.

Usually the aqua ring would've stayed longer, but its energy was gone after the magical leaves and the healing.

[Aqua Ring Heals only 1/16 of a pokemon's health.]

"Kirli.." Kirlia, a little tired, ran back in front of Akane's Goldeen. "This isn't over yet Kirlia! Use another one of your Psychic!" Kirlia looked at Goldeen straight in the eye. Kirlia's eyes glowed a light blue and lifted Goldeen in the air. She then threw Goldeen back on the ground. "Your doing great!" Trina shouted for encouragement.

"Tsk.." Trina was kind of a dilemma since her Kirlia couldn't do anything much against the Seel's powder snow.
Kirlia squinted her eyes and tried using her hands to block the snow from getting in her eyes. She was getting weaker and weaker, and was a little bit closer to fainting. Trina didn't know what to do, but ordered Kirlia to used Double Team. Kirlia relaxed her eyes a bit, made a motion with her hands and made duplicates of herself, surrounding Seel in a circle of Kirlia clones.

(Question..is it Spheal or Seel? I'm just going to go with Seel..)

(Sorry, Im not used to spelling "seal" s-e-e-l)

Seel, quickly, use water sport.

Akane planned to use a move that traveled in all directions, and naturally, water sport came to mind. Hopefully it could use the technique to discover which of the Kirlias was the real one.

*Hmm? Why did she use water sport? Doesn't that just make fire type attacks weaker? Maybe she thought I had a fire type with me?* Trina had no idea why Akane used water sport, but the real Kirlia covered her face from the water. She had to react quickly or else the Seel would defeat Kirlia! "Okay Kirlia! Quickly use Teleport!" If Trina would have used a physical attack instead, Seel would have known for sure which one was the real Kirlia. Kirlia and her clones made another hand motion and in a bright white light, flashed into another Kirlia's spot.

Again, Kirlia got hurt once more by the powder snow. Her illusions broke, and was on the edge of fainting. One more hit, and that could be it for Kirlia! Since Trina knew this is her last chance for Kirlia she had to take a risk. "Now Kirlia! Use Psychic on the Seel at full speed!" Kirlia wiped her face from the snow and sprinted towards Akane's Seel and use three psychics as much as she could.

"Kirlia dodge it!" Trina quickly said as soon she saw the Seel's beam shot out of it's mouth. Unfortunately, Kirlia was way too weak from all the damage it took, and the beam hit Kirlia's leg. "No Kirlia!" Kirlia had fainted. Trina took out her ball and returned Kirlia. "You did a good job. You beatened the Goldeen and gave the Seel some damage!" She said as she put her pokeball in her pocket. She then took another's ball out. "I'm counting on you Piplup your my last chance!" She sent out Piplup as Piplup looked confident. "Now Piplup! Use Bubblebeam!" Piplup waddled up to the Seel, jumped, and attacked the Seel's back with Bubbles.

"Piplup..dodge the body slam now and counter Seel with a drill peck!" Trina commanded. Piplup bounced up just before Akane's Seel used the drill peck. Piplup quickly jumped on Seel's head and jabbed it with a good Drill peck. "All right! Great job!" Piplup squeaked happily.
